Shaded-pole motors
An induction motor whose input is single-phase alternating current and generates a rotating magnetic field by winding a short-circuiting coil (bear-trap coil) around one of its magnetic poles. It is used for heating equipment combustion fans, etc.
Feature
This is the most economical motor with a long track record. It can be used in a wide range of applications, such as for driving blower fans used in home appliances and industrial equipment.
