Overseas, the quality of the power supply is not as strictly controlled as in Japan, and the voltage received may fluctuate due to load changes in the surrounding factories. If the voltage fluctuation is large, it can cause problems such as unstable operation of machine tools, malfunction of control equipment, inaccuracy of testing and inspection equipment, flickering and short life of fluorescent lamps, and so on.

This SVR is a large-capacity voltage regulator for the fluctuating receiving voltages that are common in emerging countries. Designed for use overseas, the SVR is available in a range of rated voltages from 22 kV to 6.6 kV. The voltage compensation is up to about 20%, and the capacity can be up to about 8000 kVA in one unit.

• The transformer part is single winding construction, so it is lightweight and compact.
